The Founder's Tavern is an experiment in honest dialogue. Now, with thousands of readers from across the country and around the world, it has grown into something real. It deserves to develop into the community it was meant to be. Throughout 2026, I will be traveling to pubs, taverns, sports bars, and “public squares” throughout our nation — starting here in my hometown of Savannah, Georgia — to sit with everyday Americans who are living with the consequences of policy and politics. Many will disagree with me. Some will argue with every word I write. But that is the point. Echo chambers do not strengthen a Republic; it is strengthened by citizens willing to listen, debate, and disagree without losing sight of the country they share.
